BIO

Eric “Dirty Red” McDaniel is a singer-songwriter, harmonica-playing bluesman from Oklahoma. After decades of song writing experience, he got his start performing on stage with Oklahoma Blues legend, Miss Blues. He has appeared on recordings with Miss Blues and The Blue Notes, Old Gray Mule, Rickett Pass and Cedric Burnside, as well as two albums with his own band, Dirty Red & The Soul Shakers. In January 2018, they represented Oklahoma at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, making it into the semi-finals.

He is currently working with Carmine Rojas, renowned Bassist for stars as David Bowie and Rod Stewart. Together with his musical partner, Marcus Nand, they arranged, recorded and produced the tracks in Los Angeles. The result is a new kind of blues sound that steps away from traditional and into a modern style all of its own.
